about

Brazil’s baile funk scene is undeniably going through a new golden age. The initial wave of tamborzão loops from Rio de Janeiro has spread across the country and found its new Mecca in São Paulo, where no one knows the new baile funk wave like Marginal Men.

Having initially established their reputation by hosting Wobble - hands down the hottest club night in São Paulo right now and a big part of why Fader chose them as one of the 25 Artists You Should Know Right Now - where the duo explore the connection between baile funk and UK bass music styles, and taking that incredible vibe to Branko’s Boiler Room album release party (with whom they collaborated on the MC Bin Laden-assisted track Louca), they’re taking a new step as they team up with some of their favourite producers on the scene to define their hybrid and futuristic vision of baile funk.

777, their brand new collab with VINÍ, one of the rising names in the scene who has already released a track on Enchufada’s Upper Cuts series, perfectly translates the unique blend of styles that you can only hear on a Wobble club night and is the first single to come out of their forthcoming Enchufada EP.
